Thanksgiving went well. We celebrated on Wednesday since I had to work on Thursday. We had all of our Howell friends over so they could all have an extra thanksgiving meal. I don't think I poisoned anyone, at least I haven't heard of any poisonings. So it was 8 adults and 7 kids all packed into our house. The kids didn't care about the food, the just wanted desert. I had a ton of leftovers since everyone left the food at my house. Well at least Mike has been taking care of those for me.

Yesterday we took the girls to see Santa and did a little shopping. Kendal wanted nothing to do with Santa. She didn't scream, she kinda just pouted the entire time she was sitting on his lap. Hayden could care less who holds her so she did fine. We may try this again later this month with the girls in their Christmas outfits, just to get some better pictures. Kendal was very excited to ride the Santa train at the mall. Even better no one else was riding so she got to ring the bell the entire time.

Hayden now has her two front top teeth. Nothing on the bottom yet. She sits up unsupported. She is trying to crawl, but still can't figure out how to pick up her head once she is up on her hands and knees. She is clapping her hands and starting to give high fives.

Our house has been full of germs, Hayden was sick while Mike was in France, then I got it for a week, and now Mike and Kendal have it. So we have been running humidifiers all night and going through Kleenex like crazy. Hopefully we will all be better soon.

Enjoy a few new pics below.

Well, I'm back from France... I actually have been back for a week but am just now caught up. My trip was tiring, mostly work, but I did get to spend a day in Paris checking things out. I DID bring back presents so Marnie is in the clear; she even got a few herself.

I took the camera and did not take one picture, sorry. There are much better pictures of the Eifel Tower all over the internet.

Below are some pics from Halloween and over the last week. Hayden got her first tooth! There is a video of Hayden babbling as well. Have a Happy Thanksgiving everyone!

Mike left for France last night. So I am a single mom until Monday. So far things are good. We will see how things go in the morning when I have to get both girls ready for school.

Hayden is great. She is such a happy kid. She hardly cries anymore unless she is super tired or really bored. She still hasn't gotten any teeth, but you can see the top two creeping down her gums. The way she is chewing on everything and drooling like crazy I think she will be getting a tooth soon. She is trying to crawl. It is quite humorous watching her. She will get up on her knees, push up with her arms and the momentum usually just rolls her over. Then she starts all over again. She is starting to sit up unsupported for short periods of time, it usually just makes her spit up. She is babbling like crazy, and imitating the noises we make to her. I think she is going to be a talker just like Kendal.

Kendal is also doing great. We are working at the whole potty thing, someday we will get to use big girl underwear. Kendal is very smart, and learns new things everyday, and she has a great memory. All week she has been telling me how Daddy is going on a big airplane to France to buy her a present. I hope Mike brings her a gift or I am screwed. Kendal loves to help with the dishes and wipes the island after we eat. I think she might have a little OCD in her too.

My parents came up to visit the kids this weekend... We went to the “Legend of Sleepy Howell” event downtown on Saturday. We are surely getting our use out of their Halloween costumes this year! Recent pics below:

We went to Spicer's Orchard this weekend like we do every year. We went with all the neighbors and all the kids got to try out their Halloween costumes early! Plenty of pics and a video below of Kendal on a rip cord.

Happy Birthday Aunty Mandy!!!

Man is it hard to keep up with this blog.

Our little baby is now six months old. The time is flying by. She is still our sweet little peanut. She hasn't had her official six month well visit but her appointment last week she weighed in at a whopping 12 lbs and 14 ounces (5th%), hey at least she is gaining weight. I will be happy to be out of the 0-3 month clothes hopefully soon since they are all wearing out and getting holes from being washed so often, and I refuse to buy new ones. She is rolling all over the place, sitting up supported and loves to shake her rattles. She is doing better with her bottle and is a good eater with a spoon. I think so far her favorite foods are peas and sweet potatoes. She loves to stand up, and enjoys standing up next to furniture.

Kendal is good as always. She is obsessed with princesses right now. She loves to wear dresses and princess crowns with pretty necklaces. She tells everyone that she is a princess and that her mommy tells her that. Mommy and Daddy are kings according to Kendal. I am working on the queen title for me. She loves her sister and is always giving Hayden toys, paci's, and her bottle. Kendal loves to read books; she even has one memorized and reads it back to you. We are working on the whole potty thing. She is wearing princess underwear (pull-ups), and we are getting better every day.

Enjoy some new pictures.
